Reflecting On 2014

Hi everyone who is still with me!

Merry Christmas, I hope you had a wonderful time!

 photo christmasstar_zps78be9dc5.jpg

I have been gone from the blog for so long and I feel kind of bad. There isn’t really a good excuse, but I’m going to try anyway. I was in such a good and inspiring place the first half of 2014, then came summer and we were all so busy, then when autumn arrived I was in the process of moving and somehow during that I lost my inspiration. Now living at the new place I never really settled back into blogging.

Studying To Become A Makeup Artist

Now 2014 is soon to be gone and for 2015 I really hope I will be better at blogging more often. On January 3rd I will be traveling to London again and this time I will be studying to become a Makeup Artist at The Academy of Freelance Makeup. This will definitely be a crazy and busy time, but I hope you would all like to share this new chapter with me.

Let me know in the comments below how your Christmas was and what your hopes for 2015 are!

I GOT IN.. The Academy Of Freelance Makeup!!

I want to thank everyone for reaching 400 followers! I haven’t been blogging as much as I would have liked to the last couple of weeks, but I have been moving and it took up much more time than I thought!

I Got In!!

I’m so excited to share that I GOT INTO THE ACADEMY OF FREELANCE MAKEUP!!! I’m starting their Complete Artistic Pro course in January, which is 5 intensive weeks of training, 6 days a week where you learn Makeup, Hairstyling, Nail Art, Airbrushing and Special FX.

The Academy Of Freelance Makeup in London

This school is the most amazing beauty school I have ever been looking at and it’s in London so I can’t wait to go back to London!

If we go back in time to around January where I got a lot of beauty books from the library and I found this amazing book named “Makeup Is Art” written by the AOFM and I first learned about the school. The book was so beautiful and inspiring, but I was sure I couldn’t afford a fancy school like this one.

A couple of months late...

Matrix Exquisite Oil Review!

Hi everyone!

So I’m one of those people who just can’t live without hair oil! Ever since hair oils came out and they suddenly became a big thing I was hooked.

 photo MatrixExquisiteOil_zps0622f0a9.jpg

I have tried a couple of different ones and I have to say my favorite so far is the Orofluido Beauty Elixir! It has the perfect texture, doesn’t make my fair greasy or heavy and it smells wonderful!

I have never tried the most famous of all hair oils, the Moroccanoil as I always thought it was a bit too expensive and then I read this blogpost from The Cupid Bow about the silicon in Moroccanoil and now I don’t want to try it.

The Matrix Exquisite Oil

I recently bought the Matrix Exquisite Oil on sale from Beautybay 50% off and have been using it ever since. The smell is again lovely (not as good as the Orofluido one) and it’s really easy to use as it comes with a little pump.

I do feel that I need to think about how much I use of this as my hair sometimes get a bit greasy from it and heavy, which is such a downside.

Rimmel 60 Seconds Rita Ora Nail Polishes Review!

Hi everyone!

I have been gone for a couple of weeks, but hopefully I’m back now. I have been enjoying summer, but also not feeling myself a 100% which is also why I haven’t taken much part in the Twitter Chats and other blogging activities, but it’s time to get back to reality now.

Rita Ora Nail Polishes

 photo rimmelritaoranailpolish_zpse42b41af.jpg

I recently bought two of the 60 Seconds Rita Ora Nail Polishes from Rimmel because the colors are so beautiful. You can get the perfect summer pastel colors, but the range also carry some lovely colors for fall.

 photo ritaoranailpolish_zps146c78b2.jpg

I got Pillow Talk (the one I’m wearing in the picture) and White Hot Love (the lovely white color). I have been really impressed by the colors, they are so pigmented especially for such light colors and the staying power is great as well, which is around a week.

The only complain I have about these nail polishes is the brush, which is useless! I made a mess with both colors, but other than that I can only recommend them.

Have you tried this range of nail polishes?

Summer Update!

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to write a little update saying I’m still here. I haven’t been posting for a while since the weather here in Denmark has been amazing and I have been out all day not using my computer.

I have been up early going for runs, going to beach and had long summer nights outside with friends and family.

How To Move From Blogger to WordPress!

Hi everyone!

Today is going to be about how to move your blog from Blogger to WordPress. This guide is going to be for people who choose to buy a domain name and use WordPress CMS (also known as If you are not sure what I’m talking about then check out my first post Introduction To WordPress – Thinking About Switching From Blogger?

 photo frombloggertowordpress_zps32ce0424.jpg

I’m going to start with listing the steps you will be going through before explaining each of them.

  1. Buy a domain name and webhotel
  2. Install WordPress
  3. Change the permalinks
  4. Import posts and comments from Blogger
  5. Setup a theme and pages
  6. Move your Bloglovin’ followers

Step 1: Buy a Domain Name

Start by buying a domain name and a webhotel to go with it. If you don’t know what a webhotel is, it’s the online space you buy to upload your things on the internet so it’s kind of like your “harddisk.” I use which I’m happy with, but find one that works for you.

Step 2: Install WordPress

The cool thing about most hosting c...

OOTD: A Little Walk!

Hi everyone!

My new design has been live for two days now and people seems to like it, so thank you! I also got some new “profile” pictures for my sidebar and about page to go with my new theme.

 photo awalk_zpseea114f0.jpg

Today I’m doing another OOTD (or actually yesterday) and I’m really proud of myself for doing it. I still feel awkward in front of the camera, but you learn by doing so that’s what I’m going for.

I was out for a little walk with my mom and the weather kept changing between sun and clouds so it was really hard to dress for it. I got my mom to shoot a couple of outfit photos and I hope you like it.

Introduction To WordPress – Thinking About Switching From Blogger?

Hi everyone!

I have been spotting some discussions on Twitter doing Twitter Chats about WordPress. It seems like some people are a bit confused or just don’t know how to tackle WordPress compared to Blogger. I’m a WordPress user, so as of right now you are visiting a WordPress blog.

 photo introductiontowordpress_zps39c3b5e9.jpg

What is WordPress?

WordPress is an open source system also known as CMS. If you find this confusing just think about it as the system running your website, just like Windows running a PC and IOS running a Mac or an iPhone.

You can find WordPress in two versions as and, but I don’t look at WordPress that way.

If you are a newbie and are thinking about starting a blog you are in the process of choosing between Blogger and and they seem very similar. I would definitely choose Blogger as it’s much easier to get started with as a free web hosting service.

If you on the other hand want your own domain name I would definitely choose WordPress, which is also known ...
